Both pens and pen holders are handcrafted from recycled flip flops! 

South African based and Kenyan born artist Davis Ndungu collects flip flops washed up on beaches or found along roadsides in Cape Town, South Africa. The sandals are then carefully cleaned, stacked layers deep, then glued together in various colorways. Davis carves a variety of pens, pen holders and other accessories from his flip flops......they blossom from his imagination.
